DESCRIPTION
Within Revenue Management, Pricing and Yield Management team seek to maximize revenue across the most robust network in the private jet industry. Quantitative Analyst is expected to develop pricing and revenue management pricing models for JetSmarter marketplace. We are looking for team members who will champion innovation and evolution within our business.
Responsibilities:
- Implement models for pricing and yield management, working closely with others on the team and outside of the department
- Develop high-performance numerical algorithms, conforming to the high reliability and availability standards of the organization
- Develop, back-test and evaluate new algorithmic pricing strategies
- Understand and monitor economic events and trends and their potential impact on the performance
- Review implementation of complex models and algorithms focusing on requirement verification and code quality
- Write and review documentation for the implemented models and code libraries
- Interfacing and coordinating with the Strategy and Technology teams to ensure successful delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent quantitative skills, with an accomplished background in economics, finance, engineering, computer science, or another highly quantitative discipline
- Extensive programming background is required, with an emphasis on numerical algorithms, pricing strategies, time series analysis and operation research
- High level of intelligence, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- A deep passion for technology, software development, data modeling and data science
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining enterprise level systems
- Demonstrate previous ability to deliver high quality solutions
- Strong written, verbal and communications skills
- Be willing and able to work both independently and as part of a team, in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical environment
