Responsibilities:



  • Able to write well-structured, maintainable, idiomatic code with good documentation; unit tests for every feature, bug fixing and code reviews.

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team, including mobile developers, designers and product managers in order to quickly deliver new features.

  • Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure smooth deployments, ensuring that errors are logged with enough info to debug effectively.


Requirements for Back-End Engineers:



  • Passion for coding, web technologies, and shipping features that drive users adoption.

  • Strong understanding of server-side technologies such as: Python, Django, Flask, Celery and both Relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

  • Advanced knowledge and experience on modern web patterns: AJAX, RESTful APIs, SOA, WebSocket, client-side rendering, etc.

  • Understanding of client-side technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Web Components,

  • Experience with distributed version control systems: mostly Git (Github and/or Bitbucket).

  • Familiar with cloud-oriented technologies: AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku, Docker

  • Familiar with cloud architecture patterns and best practices for designing highly available, scalable and secure systems.

  • Good level of English proficiency, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a sense of urgency and integrity.


Requirements for Front-End Engineers:



  • Basic CSS3 knowledge

  • Very proficient in Javascript: ES6, Webpack, React, Redux (React preferred)

  • Experience with SPA (single page applications) and SSR (server side rendering) with React (or any other modern JS framework)

  • Experience with atomic design strongly preferred

  • Experience with distributed version control systems: mostly Git (Github and/or Bitbucket).

  • Familiar with cloud-oriented technologies: AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku, Docker

  • Understanding of the appropriate use of the file system, cloud storage, network resources, and an understanding of data redundancy and availability is necessary

Responsibilities



  • Be part of a dynamic, highly-independent Scrum team following the standard Scrum ceremonies in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment

  • Work with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to break down requirements into technical tasks

  • Take ownership of various user stories and work with the development team to manage dependencies on the QPP Program

  • Collaborate with members of other teams to address integration needs and/or other interpendencies
