Software QA Engineer for our team testing JVM-based applications and deployments in a highly automated & metrics-driven QA environment for an Enterprise Java Virtual Machine.
Job duties :
- Create test scenarios using Java based industry-standard ISV products such as those mentioned above
- Monitoring and enhancing automated testing, analyzing failures, and other similar on-going QA activities and processes.
Requirements :
- 5-10 years with good understanding of software development process and practices, continuous integration, popular tools and platforms used for automation in this area.
- Strong experience in scripting: Shell, Python, Javascript
- Strong operational experience in Linux environment
- Working knowledge of popular CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins, Buildbot), experience with AWS, GCE.
- Knowledge of containerization, virtualization and products such as Docker, Kubernetes.
- Passion for automation, tools development
- Ability to create and present analyses of data via dashboards.
- English: read/write technical documentation, communicate efficiently with globally distributed team via email, phone, web-based conferencing.
- Quick learner, self-driven, team player with good common sense and skilled in communication and presentation.
Strong plusses :
- Experience in developing for or testing, deploying/configuring Java based Products from ISVs (Independent Software Vendors - such as Apache Spark, Cloudera, Cassandra, Solr, Netty)
- Good knowledge of Java, Java development experience
- Knowledge of C++, C++ development experience
