Job Description:

The candidate will work closely with the 6DOF system team to help with:
-
Platform bring-up, help investigating different HW issues, mass production support, Quality estimation
Primary Responsibilities:
-
Perform HW work Perform soldering, component assembly and other Hardware rework as needed by system team members
-
In addition, coordinate with Prototype laboratory for more complex rework
-
System tuning and calibration
-
Use existing tools to tune and calibrate the 6DOF system MATLAB tools Python tools Executable tools
-
Hands-on with shell scripting for basic device scripting.
-
Assemble and disassemble mechanical fixtures for it.
-
Work with the system team to estimate tuning quality.
-
Mass production tests
-
Setup MP
-
Setup fixtures and SW.
-
Ability to run 10s of devices on MP tools to estimate its performance.
-
Basic MP troubleshooting.
-
Do basic analysis and summarize the measured results
-
System quality estimation (static) Record data at different mechanical fixture positions, Analyze data for precision, and accuracy. The analysis will be done by tools the system team provides. Write a report on the system performance

Ability to write automatic tests in Python language
-
System quality estimation (dynamic), Find issues with the product, Reproduce the issues, Log the issues and share it with system team
Secondary Responsibilities:

Lab equipment and inventory maintenance

Keep track of inventory
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Skills/Experience (4-8 years)
-
Knowledge and experience in using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multi-meter and thermal oven

Prototyping capabilities (soldering, building fixtures etc)
-
MS-Office for report generation
-
Maintaining cooperative and professional working relationships and collaboration with peers
-
Organized data collection with proper documentation
Preferred Qualifications:

Skills in Shell scripting, Matlab, Python scripting
