Job Description :

We are looking for an iOS Developer (with minimum 2 years of experience) who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and shape new features.

- Work with outside data sources and APIs

- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements :

- Min Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

- Proven software development experience

- Proven working experience in iOS development

- Proven Experience in Objective C and Swift

- Have published NATIVE iOS Mobile app

- Experience with X-Code

- Experience in integrating Social Media and Other Third-Party API

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

- Should have Prior experience in Team Management

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

- Hands on experience of core data

- Good understanding of Data Structures.

Function Description:
American Express is embarking on an exciting transformation driven by an energetic new team of high-performers. This is a great opportunity to join Information Technology Service Management (where we provide Operational and Contractual reporting for American Express's large managed vendor partners)
Purpose of the Role :
- You will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering world class Business Intelligence products & solutions utilizing Informatica, and SQL 2012 to produce Visual Analytics, Dashboards, & Reporting for a large variety of user needs. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers.
Responsibilites:
- Architect, design, prototype, and deliver solutions across Informatica applications to support business strategies and deliver business value utilizing agile methodologies
- Provide leadership, direction, & best practices to development teams
- Serve as a core member of agile teams that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and tests and builds automation tools
Qualifications
Critical Factors to Success:
- Build strong relationships with Business & Technology Partners and provide coaching & mentorship to technology teams
- Owning all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications; Performing hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems
- Performing hands-on software development and testing, typically spending about 50%+ of time writing code, API specs, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, or doing proof of concepts/automation tools
- Driving consistent development practices - tools and common components; developing deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
- Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
Past Experience:
- Strong demonstrated development experience in Informatica & SDK with Informatica Powercenter and PowerExchange for mainframe
- Demonstrated experience in agile development, application design, software development, and testing
Academic Background:
- 6+ years of BI software development experience and preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or other technical discipline
Functional Skills/Capabilities :
- Extensive hands on experience with MPP and Relational Databases and a strong understanding of BI/Data Warehouse architectures & concepts
- Experience with Java development, Unix, and Unix scripting preferred
- Passionate about creating great technology products and is always looking for creative & innovative solutions to meet or exceed our business partners- needs
- Strong leadership skills & ability to collaborate across development portfolios to drive results and to coach, lead and develop others
Technical Skills/Capabilities :
- Strong technical aptitude with an intense desire to learn new skills and industry trends
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and consultative skills with a proven ability to express ideas, concepts, technology approaches, etc. in business compelling language and to create and deliver effective presentations to upper management across the organization
