The Product Team drives the evolution of the machineQ platform from how clients interact with us, how we present our services to the general public, up to customizing our own sensor hardware. Job Summary:
The Lead UX/Design Creative Director, machineQ will be responsible for driving product and experience design vision by conceiving of and executing detailed physical and digital product designs, developing brand design standards to be used across all machineQ products and marketing assets, managing outside vendors, and working in tandem with Engineering to implement platform components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Marketing, Business Development, and Sales. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with significant leadership experience to define and drive the success of a new product line in an emerging field that will drive material revenue growth for Comcast.

This position reports into the Comcast Experience Design group, an award winning product and design organization focused on building and evolving best in class customer products and experiences. The role is dedicated to the machineQ efforts and will participate alongside the many Experience Design team leaders.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive the entirety of the machineQ user experience with significant collaboration and input from Product team leads to ensure an integrated platform of tool sets. This includes the end-to-end development of client-facing device management tools, network oversight monitoring, dev kit enablement, eCommerce portal and bespoke application development.
- Develop comprehensive brand design standards to apply across machineQ platform components, branded hardware and marketing assets.
- Create innovative, engaging UI containing original interaction, visual physical and design.
- Author complete design specifications with a focus towards engineering collaboration and implementation.
- Manage the outsourcing and performance of third party resources needed to implement Product requirements and develop marketing assets. Over time, develop internal team to support entirety of machineQ UX needs.
- Help to facilitate relationship with physical manufacturing partners to ensure design intent is executed properly while keeping on time and in budget.
- Prototype web and mobile software to accelerate Engineering team development cycles.
- Deliver high quality work on tight schedules in a dynamic, agile product environment.
- Demonstrate a command of usability and accessibility standards, of visual and UI design disciplines and principles.
- Support, communicate, course-correct, and revise through the development phase.
- Work as a collaborative member of the broader SLT Experience Design team.
- Maintain a critical eye and an obsessive attention to detail.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification:
-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
-Years of Experience: Generally requires 10+ years related experience (excellent online portfolio showcasing user experience, human factors and visual design work for mobile and web).
- Minimum 8-10 years of UI and visual design experience within agency, corporate or product design team.
- Ability to prototype is a plus.
- Awareness of physical manufacturing processes and ability to audit manufacturing CAD.
- Experience in iconography, symbol design, and data visualization.
- Deep knowledge of cross-platform usability and consumer driven design sensibilities, data driven design and UI experience design.
- Understanding of design and technical capabilities/limitations of leading email and browser technology.
