Roles and Responsibilities :
- Be a Tester who can test a complex solution and work independently (including ETL, query APIs, Workflows with containerization deployment
- Design and run manual /automated quality test, as well as performance tests
- Review agile functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables to enable development of good test scenarios
- Identify defects and impact on the solutions
- Deliver high quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
- Collaborate with US QA Team and Development teams
- Follow process by adhering to documented methodology. Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects
- Should be able to perform manual testing or create test cases or create automate test scripts depending on the need of the team
Mandatory Skills and Experience :
- Degree in Computer Science or a related subject is preferred
- 4 to 8 years of relevant QA Automation Engineering experience
- Prior experience in Selenium with Java/Ruby/Python is must
- Experience in Cucumber/Gherkin
- Good on Linux commands and hands-on experience on these OS required
- Good analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills required
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player and should be able to work with diverse teams locally and globally
- Code analysis and debugging capabilities
- REST API's understanding
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Good Understanding of any of the ETL tool is a plus
- Basic Understanding of Ruby on Rails will be plus
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Be a self-starter who enjoys collaborating
- Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Be fast and efficient and able to juggle multiple projects
- Be an expert, proactive communicator, and possesses
Education : Bachelor of Engineering in computer science/Software engineering or other similar equivalent disciplines.
