Role: SAP Enterprise Portal

Position: Full Time / Permanent Role

Location: Austin, TX



Technical Skills

  • At least 5 years of SAP Enterprise Portal experience.
  • Should have worked on Enterprise Portal 7.4 or 7.5
  • Should have worked on SAP UI5  and have good UI5 development skills  
  • Should have worked with HTML5/REST/ oData Protocols
  • Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX, JavaScript and XML technologies.
  • Knowledge of 'Portal On Device' and SAP Fiori is an added plus.
  • Excellent Java programing skills and should have worked on Portal Development Kit.  
  • Significant Knowledge & experience on Portal Themes, layouts, desktops etc.
  • Should have worked with javascript / CSS support for multiple browsers such as IE, Firefox, Safari etc
  • Implement and maintain enterprise portal iView configurations/integrations and perform iView Development (J2EE) to enhance business processes
  • Configure and administer Netweaver Portal components including iViews, Pages, Worksets, and Business Packages including role integration with ERP.
  • Knowledge on MAC OS Environment & ABAP would be an added advantage.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, M.S. in Computer Science a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create Portal Components based on Abstract Portal Components and  JSP.
  • Develop Portal Menu Navigation, Create new Portal Themes, Modify SAP Portal Masthead as required for projects.
  • Create new iViews,Pages, Worksets, Roles and apply custom theme.
  • Work with project managers to plan the development activities.
  • Able to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
  • Stay current with latest SAP Portal technologies and evolving requirements
