Experience in managing CloudFormation templates along with different AWS services such as RDS come as a big advantage as well as a familiarity with Ansible and working with POSIX systems. Working with git should be second nature to you.

Since you will also be working closely to engineering, a background in software development is necessary. While the job does not directly involve engineering efforts, being able to understand the connections within the software for building releases comes as a huge bonus.

Over the past 18 months we have grown our engineering department from 5 to 16 people and are now looking for a Director of Engineering to continue help us grow and excel.
