Qualifications



  • Must have at least 2 + years of industry experience working with web application development technologies - JavaScript, Rails, Ruby, Sinatra, and Django

  • Must have completed Bootcamp such as; General Assembly, Flatiron School, Dev Bootcamp, Ironhack, App Academy, Codecademy and etc

  • BS or BA degree, or higher

  • Familiarity with agile development practices, XP experience is a plus

  • Experience and skill in troubleshooting and performance tuning hardware and operating systems for low latency environments and/or throughput

  • Experience with LDAP, NIS, DNS, proxy

  • Experience with market data distribution technologies and understanding of FIX protocol is preferred

  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills required to work closely with business partners, engineering, operations and vendors
