Your key responsibilities
- You manage the new streaming data analytics engine that allow us to process high volume events to approach our customers at the right moment in time with the needed help or advice.
- This covers the development and the maintenance of the platform used to capture customer behavior and apply advanced analytic capabilities, all in real-time to have the most relevant personal notifications though the most relevant channels.
- You are an IT professional that spans the full range of activities, from close involvement in the design of the solution to the monitoring, integrating it in a complex landscape and live managing of your assets. You care for your applications to be extremely fast, reliable, robust and compliant with the latest industry standards in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are customer-oriented and are willing to take advantage of the latest technologies to differentiate from our competitors by delivering an astonishing customer experience.

As a DevOps engineer, you are :
- Savvy to keep up with all new technologies, with an interest for or affinity with Apache Flink, Ansible & Ansible Tower, Docker, Kafka, Zookeeper, Scala etc.
- Methodical, strong in organizing your own work, keeping your commitments and proactively identifying where you could help your colleagues.
- Able to communicate across various levels and stakeholders.
- Able to experiment new things, be innovative and creative in developing new solutions.
- A team player while being able to cope on your own.
And you have as well …
- A bachelor or master degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent through experience.
- 3 or more years of experience with good knowledge of IT basic principles used in real-time event processing
- An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset
