De performance van de Belastingdienst stoelt in belangrijke mate op onze ICT-infrastructuur: één van de meest geavanceerde van de wereld. En ook door dat laatste is onze (digitale) dienstverlening aan burgers en bedrijven in Nederland van een erg hoog niveau. De unit basic middleware houdt zich bezig met message queueing en is verantwoordelijk voor ontwerp, bouw en test uit op het gebied van Websphere Message Queuing (berichtenverkeer), Cross File Transfer (bestandsverkeer), broker en gateway services (DataPower).

Onze infrastructuur is gescheiden in een development- en operations-omgeving. Zij werken volgens de principes van het Agile-manifest met de toepassing van de Scrum-methodiek. In deze 'dev-ops' omgeving richt jij je op de externe processen: op de gegevensstromen met het bedrijfsleven of met andere organisatieonderdelen binnen de Rijksoverheid. Uitdagend werk voor een flexibele professional!

Als developmentspecialist DataPower specialist zorg jij ervoor dat onze applicaties soepel en geruisloos met elkaar (blijven) communiceren. Je bent werkzaam bij het team dat bijvoorbeeld de berichtenstroom van de douane op Schiphol, van de Rotterdamse haven én die van de Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer. Je zorgt ervoor dat de gegevens uit onze mobiele apps onze dienst en servers kunnen bereiken. Een enorm dynamische wereld.

In jouw rol van senior engineer neem jij je collega's mee in de nieuwste technieken en je coacht hen in hun ontwikkeling. Je krijgt alle ruimte om je te verdiepen in vernieuwende technieken waarmee je bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van jouw team! Je bent van begin tot eind betrokken bij de projecten waar je aan werkt, waardoor je ook het resultaat van jouw inzet en die van het team ziet.

De werkzaamheden van het team kennen een enorme dynamiek. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan de heel spannende periode van de online aangifte'. Op dat moment doen alle ongeveer 12 miljoen belastingplichtigen op hetzelfde en misschien wel allerlaatste moment aangifte en kan onze organisatie dat aan? De uitvoering doe je samen met jouw collega's die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de exploitatie en je grijpt meteen in als dat nodig is. Termen als migraties, hoog beschikbaar, security, middleware, disaster & recovery en uitwijk- en calamiteitenplannen hebben voor jou dan ook geen enkel geheim.

Functie-eisen



  • Je beschikt over een hbo werk- en denk niveau en je bent bij voorkeur in het bezit van het hbo-diploma in een relevante ICT-richting, het liefst (technische) informatica.

  • Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar relevante werkervaring als developer of software engineer.

  • Als senior heb je ervaring met het begeleiden van professionals in hun ontwikkeling.

  • Je hebt uitstekende kennis van IBM DataPower en operating systems zoals Windows en Linux en bij voorkeur ook Mainframe.

  • Als je beschikt over kennis van IBM DataPower, IBM MQ en Message Broker is dat een pre.

  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal uitstekend, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

En probeer jezelf dan eens voor te stellen hoe complex en uitdagend de infrastructuur daarachter moet zijn. Ik was in ieder geval onmiddellijk nieuwsgierig en ben daarin zeker niet teleurgesteld. Op ons nieuwe private cloud platform (Toeslagen.Ne(X)t) met moderne private cloud technieken binnen één van de grootste en complexe Microsoft omgevingen van Nederland, worden binnenkort de applicaties en databases gehost waarmee de verwerking van alle Toeslagen wordt gedaan. De Toeslagen applicaties verwerken iedere maand de toeslagen voor 6 miljoen burgers. Het is een platform waar veel burgers in Nederland in belangrijke mate (in)direct van afhankelijk zijn en het is dus zaak om het nieuwe platform optimaal te laten functioneren.



Het Toeslagen.Ne(X)t platform is een echte Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) cloud met alle kenmerken die daarbij horen. Het platform is gebouwd op een converged infrastructure van HP en volledig gebaseerd op Microsoft technologie. Specifiek voor de automatisering wordt gebruik gemaakt van PowerShell, Pester, SMA, DSC, BitBucket, Visual Studio (development tools).


In jouw rol als system engineer en netwerkspecialist ben je als lid van een DevOps-team verantwoordelijk voor de voortbrenging én exploitatie van de infraproducten (netwerkconfiguraties) van dit platform. Je werkt mee aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het platform en verdere automatisering van de voortbrenging en de implementatie.


Daarna ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden en vernieuwen van de infrastructuurcomponenten. Je vernieuwt, configureert, installeert en onderhoudt het platform en de daarbij behorende tooling én je zorgt ervoor dat deze beheersbaar blijven. Ook kan je worden ingezet voor exploitatiewerkzaamheden. Je handelt dan incidenten en problemen af en je voert beheer-werkzaamheden uit.


Als system engineer en netwerkspecialist krijg je alle ruimte om je te verdiepen in vernieuwende technieken en denk je proactief mee over verbeteringen, waarvoor je jouw specialismen op het gebied van netwerkontwerp, netwerkconfiguratie en netwerkautomation weet te benutten! Je neemt jouw collega's mee in het ontwerpen en je coacht hen in hun ontwikkeling. Zo draag je bij aan de kwaliteit van de werkzaamheden en de ontwikkeling van jouw team.   • Je hebt liefst een hbo-diploma in de (technische) informatica óf je beschikt aantoonbaar over hbo-werk- en denkniveau.

  • Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie en bij voorkeur al enige kennis van Private Cloud IaaS oplossingen en principes.

  • Je beschikt over ervaring met ontwerpen van netwerkconfiguraties op het gebied van DNS, firewalling, load balancing, routering, VLANs, reverse proxy etc.

  • Én ook beschik je over ervaring met PowerShell scripting (van netwerkconfiguraties).

  • Je hebt kennis van en ervaring met Desired State Configuration (DSC).

Stremio and AdEx are on top of our efforts!


Stremio is a video streaming hub used by more than 5 million people around the world. The product line includes a desktop app covering all major platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux ), mobile apps for iOS and Android and a TV app based on Qt. Stremio works in browser, too ;) 


AdEx is the first decentralized advertising network based on the Ethereum network and blockchain technologies. We've launched the platform beta in the beginning of 2018!


Currently, we are looking for experienced front-end developer to join our team here in Sofia. The team consists of 12 fantastic professionals and you can find more about us on our company page.


:: Work process


You will be working on both projects. Of course, the work process is consistent, and well organized in order to keep your workflow uninterrupted and smooth.


Recently, we have successfully launched the AdEx beta, so probably we will focus on this for beginning.


:: Required technical knowledge


Cutting to the chase, we are looking for an expert level of JavaScript and ES6 engineer.

- Solid experience with front-end frameworks including Vue.js, React, AngularJS (1.x or newer);

- Strong experience with NodeJS;

- Excellent understanding of HTML5 and CSS3;

- Excellent understanding of how browsers work: fundamentals of TCP, HTTP / HTTPS, DOM and the general architecture of the web;

- Familiar with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL DBMS;

- Understanding of browser security (e.g. XSS);

- Solid experience in API implementations and REST;


:: The following will be great advantage

- Android / Java experience;

- iOS / Objective C / Swift experience;

- Worked with/in video streaming;

- Worked with lower level projects, e.g. C/C++

- Worked with bash scripts, automation on Linux

- Strong GitHub presence and involvement in open-source projects is highly valued;


:: Understanding layout & UI implementation

- Excellent understanding of highly-effective UI implementation following good practices;

- Familiar with Apple Design and Material Design guidelines;

- Highly intuitive about good UI and UX;


:: Personal requirements


- Creative problem solver with critical thinking;


- Cooperative team player with good sense of humor;


- Self-motivated and highly effective, with minimum need of supervision, asking the right questions;
