Data Science Data Engineer VP at JP Morgan Chase (Jersey City, NJ)

Experts in Data Reconnaissance & Architecture operate as the exploratory group for locating valuable information in data.  They are responsible for identifying relevant data elements that exist within and outside of JPMorgan Chase & Co., run analyses to transform and enrich the data, and construct the usable data into an optimized queryable asset to be loaded into our analytics environment.  They will also be responsible for owning the development and optimization of all Analytical Data assets in our analytic environment, including: conceptual design, logical, physical and semantic design, testing and user acceptance, performance tuning and optimization, and finally hand off to production support teams.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

·         BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

The goals of the Innovation Laboratory are



1) to develop and validate genomic assays and associated computational pipelines for the molecular characterization of human tumors,



2) to evaluate emerging technologies for potential clinical utility,

The mission of the Center for Molecular Oncology (CMO) is to promote precision oncology through genomic analysis to guide the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. The Platform Informatics group within the CMO is seeking a full stack software engineer with expertise in both front and back-end development of web applications. We seek an applicant that will provide Graphic User Interface (GUI) design, prototyping, and development of new applications that interact with existing APIs and databases for the enhancement of the Integrated Genomics Operation (IGO). Work will be performed in a small group atmosphere (approximately 10 members from diverse disciplines) with several active collaborators, and in concert with other software engineers, project managers, and genomic sequencing core scientists.
