We are looking for energetic, high-performing candidate for Senior SDET role to join the Technology team at Meesho.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for test plan creation, estimating, prioritizing multiple projects. You have to make sure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked and resolved. You will be responsible for the design, maintain automation framework and scripts. You will work closely with product and

development teams for scoping/sizing after clarifying requirements and create strategy and technical design for quality delivery and help others on same within and across teams.

- 3 to 6 years of experience in Mobile App (Android and iOS platform), Web and Backend REST API testing.

- Hands on programming experience in Java.

- Experience in designing, developing, debugging and executing automation scripts for Web/Mobile applications using Open Source tools (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG).

- Experience in REST API Automation using RestAssured/HTTP-Client.

- Experience in CI-CD tools like Jenkins.

- Hands on experience in MySQL.

- Hands on experience in Linux/Unix commands.

- Experience in performance testing is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Estimate, Prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

- Well versed with writing test cases and bug logging.

- Understand functional/technical specifications and analyse server logs.

- Look for potential quality issues proactively.

- Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.

Lead Software Engineer at Brivo Systems, LLC (Bethesda, MD)

Summary:
Brivo is looking for a highly creative, passionate, and skilled Lead Software Engineer to design and develop new web services for a global security system serving millions of users. Responsibilities:



  • Be a hands-on coder with the team approximately 75% of the time

  • Work closely with technical leadership and other team leads to drive architecture and design and provide technical decisions for team in line with architectural goals

  • Collaborate with architects and product management to plan feature work, enhancements, and technical debt for your team’s products

  • Mentor other developers and identify potential training needs on the team

  • Hire, onboard, and provide performance feedback for team members

  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of development and quality strategies

  • Foster devops culture and product ownership amongst team

  • Work with Agile team to complete code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming


Qualifications:



  •  8+ years experience with Java and Spring in developing complex web applications that scale securely and responsively

  • Experience with leading a team of developers in building software from inception / planning to implementation / support

  • Strong foundation in web applications and services with modern software architecture

  • Experience with the following:

    • Releasing microservices to cloud environment with zero downtime

    • Designing and optimizing database schemas and queries

    • REST API development and RESTful web development with Javascript

    • Setting up and managing CI builds on Jenkins

    • Front-end technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML

    • React or Bootstrap a plus
