The Delivery Engineer (DE) is the technical counterpart to the Project Manager on IP Video projects, and is accountable for the overall project technical solution. Who does the delivery engineer work with?

Department Overview:

VIPER (Video IP Engineering & Research) is a startup division within Comcast's Technology, Product and Experience organization. VIPER is a cloud-based, IP video infrastructure that's been built to deliver a broad mix of on-demand video, live TV streams and an assortment of other digital media to an array of connected devices in the home.

The team usually gets in to the office between 8-9am. The day starts with a stand-up where all the Dev and QA members gather for a 15 to 30-minute meeting where each person spends a few minutes talking about what they worked on yesterday, if they have any blockers and what they will be working on today. Experienced C# Developer Who Is Ready to Take the Lead at ClearPoint Federal Bank & Trust (Batesville, IN) (allows remote)

JOB BRIEF:

We are seeking an experienced professional who will provide systems design and development expertise in support of ClearPoint’s recordkeeping system and website.  Along with responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of these platforms, this position will be key in planning for and maintaining their viability as ClearPoint looks to expand its use of customer interactive technology.  The position offers the flexibility to work remotely following the initial onboarding period.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with ClearPoint management to understand business needs for new or modified systems and website functionality and features
• 
  
• Conceptualize, design, develop, test and implement proprietary software solutions based on identified business needs and established process methodologies and tools
• 
  
• Create and maintain thorough and complete systems documentation for audit support, business understanding, and simplification of ongoing systems maintenance and design
• 
  
• Provide ongoing systems support, troubleshooting and resolving all application, UI, and database related issues in a timely manner
• 
  
• Make recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the technology needs
• 
  
• Proactively monitor, maintain and enhance existing systems to optimize performance, keep pace with changing business needs and reflect technology advancements

• Consistently demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service in fulfilling all responsibilities of the position

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development including unit, systems, and regression testing frameworks
• 
  
• Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming, UI design, and architectural design schemas for scalable web-based applications
• 
  
• 3+ years programming experience in C# with knack for writing clean, readable, and reusable modules
• 
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and SQL Server Management Studio including integration services (SSIS) and reporting services (SSRS)
• 
  
• Familiarity with .NET, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• 
  
• Understanding of GIT, NPM and Jenkins application management tools
• 
  
• Self-directed and results oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• 
  
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• 
  
• Experience in trust or funeral services industry a plus
