As a Senior QA Automation Engineer you will:
– Understand business requirements and transform them into test scenarios
– Work in an Agile environment with planning, review, estimations and deliver into production fast and on quality
-Do automated component, integration and end-to-end tests with Java, Javascript using BDD and Bash or other scripting languages across all systems (UIs, APIs, Processing engines, DBs)
– Learn, master and debug High Performance microservices, Big Data Analytics, Processing Engines and their interactions
– Use Continuous Delivery tools and Docker application containers to streamline validations and deployment
– Develop and improve automation frameworks for better and faster coverage of functionalities across all products
Your Job Requirements:
– BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant work experience
– 3+ years of practical experience in software automated testing
– Experience working on Agile environment with sprints and planning
– Good understanding of programming principles, best practices and knowledge of OOP (Java, JavaScript, Python)
– Good understanding of Web Services: REST APIs, HTTP protocol
– Experience with relational and non-relational DBs –Eg:MySQL /PostgreSql /HBase /Druid /Memcache /Redshift /Aerospike /MongoDB
– Experience with Linux command line tools and scripting (Bash, Python, Awk, Sed)
– Excellent Linux applications debugging skills
– Experience in version control tools: Git, GitHub
– Good knowledge of the English language, both orally and written
The following represents an asset:
– Experience working with application containers (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes)
– Experience with Amazon services: S3, EC2, ECR
– Knowledge of UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Protractor)
