This role is within our Consumer Connectivity Services (CCS) team, to reinvent the car ownership by making life less complicated for our customers and ultimately save their highly valued time. There's no reason the experience of car ownership should be time consuming and difficult - and we're equally convinced that the actual possession of a car could be even more valuable to consumers in the future. That is our mission.
This is a rapidly growing team, with a very interesting roadmap, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their function, helping to establish it at Volvo Cars.
Whats in it for you?
This role is within the Consumer Insight & Business Analytics (CI&BA) function at CCS, supporting in the creation, development and nourishment of digital products, thus requiring skillsets across the entire business and digital product lifecycle. CI&BA currently supports five product teams with dedicated resources whose role is to be the right hand of the product manager, representing all business aspects within the product team.
As a Regional Product Partnerships Manager, you are to be the backbone of CCS product expansion in the EMEA market, supporting in each of the CCS products.
What youll do
Lead Product Partnerships and negotiations across products in EMEA
Set standards for Analysis, business modelling, partner development
Support current and future partner collaboration, from evaluation to optimized operations
Maintain a standard of excellence by injecting business recommendations across CCS product portfolio
Build business models and provide relevant subject matter expertise to strategy discussions
Prepare guidelines and define initiatives for business analysis to ensure a solid base for decision making on deeper analysis vs real-world testing
Liase with product teams and Global Business Development
Maintain communications and coordinate activities with relevant stakeholders
Keep a pulse on customer sentiment across products by maintaining a close line of communication with consumers.
Act as a thought leader for business analytics on digital services across Market Intelligence, Regions, Product Strategy, Corporate Communications, Global Marketing, and other key business units within Volvo Cars
Do you fit the profile?
Multidisciplinary degree, with core in business or relevant experience with strong track record
5+ years relative experience with minimum of Masters or MBA with distinction preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (the ability to effectively sell an idea)
Management consulting, investment banking or fast paced technology start up in similar space highly desired
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
A collaborative, team-player attitude, which allows you to have impact across organizations
Outstanding problem-solving skills combined with a creative spirit
Strategically-minded with the ability to set goals and KPIs and achieve them
A dedicated learner with an innate desire to figure out how things work
Keen understanding of business models, business dynamics and pricing models
A motivated self-starter that always take the initiative and can work autonomously
Excels under pressure with the ability to multitask and prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately
