Your Responsibilities



  • Use your extensive practical expertise to help teams design efficient and elegant technical solutions;

  • Collaborate with the customers and stake-holders very early on up to the scaling phase, to orchestrate the technical approach and vision;

  • Lead our technical recruitment effort as a hiring manager;

  • Coach, guide and facilitate the professional growth of the engineers;

  • Do hands on coding, involving yourself in the most challenging and complex development tasks; 

  • Own the tech strategy, ensuring the technology stacks, infrastructure and development methods we use enable efficient project delivery and sustainable company growth. 


Skills and qualifications



  • You have at least 10 years of software development experience, with no less than 5 years in a leadership role;

  • You have a thorough hands-on expertise with the backend tech stack, as well as a very good overview of frontend and mobile technologies, being able to come up with great overall architecture solutions;

  • Experience with data technologies and products will definitely be a big plus;

  • You are an authentic leader, keen on leading by example rather than by direct top-down management;

  • You have a proven track record driving architectural decisions and delivering large-scale software products;

  • You have a deep understanding of digital business models and are confident to present our innovative solutions in front of the customers; 

  • You wish to understand and influence products you work on and are able to see them not only from the engineering point of view, but also from a user’s perspective; 

  • You are committed to operational excellence and to facilitating team communication and collaboration on a daily basis; 

  • You are fluent in English; German skills would be a plus.
