DevOps Engineer - Terraform/Kubernetes (3-15 yrs)

Requirement 1:

Job Description

Technical skill set:

- 8-15 years as a DevOps engineer

- Good understanding of public cloud offerings, preferably Azure

- In-depth knowledge and 3+ years of experience with Terraform

- Good understanding and 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift

- Extensive experience in container technology: registries, image format, tagging, distribution, consumption

Bonus points for:

- Hands-on experience with Java

- Hands-on experience with Golang

- Understanding and hands on experience with Istio (or another service mesh)

Requirement 2:

Technical skill set:

- 3-4 years as a DevOps engineer

- Good understanding of public cloud offerings, preferably Azure

- In-depth knowledge and 1+ years of experience with Terraform

- Good understanding and 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift

- Good Knowledge in container technology: registries, image format, tagging, distribution, consumption

Bonus points for:

- Knowledge on Java

- Knowledge on Istio (or another service mesh)

Role : Team Lead and Principal Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering

Exp Range : 6-14 Yrs

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineers to join our Technology team. You will be working as part of a cross-functional product team to create elegant solutions to highly complex and intricate business challenges.

We are looking at Candidate who are good at Programming and can Code Properly. programming, Linux Administration, AWS & Kubernetes experience is MUST

As Reliability Engineer you are expected to:

- Work with development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud native architecture principles

- Establish robust reliability engineering to support Arcesium platform, managing aspects like monitoring, chaos testing, alerting, on-call rotations, and capacity forecasting

- Identify and address patterns in infrastructure and applications that can be solved with a common solution

- Help build tools/libraries to improve reliability of the system

- Mentor SREs with incident case-studies and technical workshops

- Write technical blogs and reach out to dev groups actively to spread SRE practices

- Mentor and coach engineers to be curious and effective at discovering and solving technical challenges

What you'll need:

- 6+ years of experience handling systems for large scale production environments

- Experienced with variety of tools that help manage, understand, and debug large, complex distributed systems

- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux system, web technologies, databases and public cloud systems like AWS, Networking, Systems

- Experience working on cross department efforts by communicating and negotiating with multiple teams to accomplish goals

- Prior system administration or programming experience must

- Programming experience with java, Python, Go is MUST.

The following are the other skillset Mix that we are looking in this role -

- Dev Ops, Debugging skills, experience in logging and monitoring solutions such as Elastic Search, Kibana, fluentd, logstash, Open Census, Prometheus, AWS Cloud watch /Cloud Metrics, Datadog

- Linux - administration & internals, Networking, Scripting, Debugging skills, LDAP, [Docker, Ansible/Puppet, Security]

- AWS Skills

- Experience in managing messaging middleware infra such as - Kafka (AWS MSK), Rabbit MQ, Active MQ

- Infra automation - Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, AWS Cloud formation templates
