What you'll do

Central to this role are architecting, designing and developing responsive, scalable applications and services.   • Develop and implement cloud based solutions to meet development, test, pre-production/integration, and production environments that meet project requirements

  • Develop and implement creative solutions for automating deployment, configuration, and verification of legacy or early stage technology to cloud environments and to support continuous integration of applications

  • Evaluate and have a firm understanding of emerging technologies and trends for DevOps automation within cloud infrastructures

  • Provide guidance on the full life cycle of cloud based solutions including tools, technologies, and best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud hosted services

  • Design solutions and provide insights into tradeoffs in various infrastructure and application deployment, configuration, and verification strategies

  • Implement and automate DevOps continuous integration and deployment pipelines and functions



Required skills and experience:



  • Active TS Clearance (SCI with CI Poly preferable)

  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant experience and certifications

  • 6+ years of systems infrastructure, integration/development experience

  • Experience designing repeatable automated solutions for deploying, configuring, and verifying cloud solutions

  • Hands-on experience building, delivering, and managing cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms such as those provided by AWS, AWS C2S, and Azure

  • Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Chef, Salt, and/or Ansible

  • Demonstrable experience with AWS CloudFormation, IAM, S3, EBS, KSM, ELB, EC2, VPC, RDS, and other AWS services

  • Experience with migrating workloads to AWS/AWS C2S/Azure

  • 1+ years’ experience with STIG implementations and NIST 800-53 Authorization & Accreditation policies and directives

  • A track record of successfully developing and deploying IT solutions within large enterprise organization.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Capacity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Support other IOP initiatives and projects as needed

  • AWS Solution Architecture Certification and/or other AWS certifications.
