POSITION PURPOSE

Staff User Experience Designers work hand in hand, often pairing, with other members of product teams to bring products to life. 


The Staff UX Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, quality products through collaboration with end users and modern software development teams. Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience

You translate and transform them into dashboards that match the expectations of end users. Your responsibilities



  • Partner with managers and business stakeholders to understand their data needs

  • Map available management information

  • Developing and managing intuitive, simple and meaningful interactive dashboards

  • Research and test data quality and realise ETL-processes

  • Act as a sparring partner for product owners and business stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making within Otravo

Skills and Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence
Expert in Tableau of comparable dashboarding software packages (PowerBI/Qlik)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Strong analytical skills, any experience with analytical programming languages is a plus (R, Python, SAS)
Experience with visual design and creating visually attractive dashboards. UX experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Excellent verbal and written command of the English language, any knowledge of Dutch is a plus
