As a Team Lead Engineering, you will integrate data sources from all Zalando and enrich them via ETL and Data Science. You will create interfaces and reports for self service and be the bridge between tech and commercial teams.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Lead a team of engineers with different backgrounds such as big data engineers, front end developers and ad-hoc consultants and grow tech mastery and best practices trough leadership and living our values
- Extend the team’s technology, which includes a move towards AWS and Data Science technologies and tools
- Discover new business use cases and data sources, accessing more than 100 data sources in our Data Lake and processing them for business critical applications.
- Collaborate with commercial stakeholders and tech teams to understand business requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering using SQL, ATL, AWS and Python
- Experience in making technology decisions and give advices for big data technologies. You should be able to explore our tech radar and explore new options with the team.
- Lead or at least mentor other engineer colleagues
