We are hiring for SDE I/ II/ III roles with top startup companies.

Role :

A typical SDE2 is expected to take up the following responsibilities :

- Work closely with Team Leads, Product Managers and SDET teams to gather data and estimate project timelines.

- Should be able to understand product specifications and come up with optimal scalable solutions.

- Should be aware of Agile working model and follow JIRA hygiene

- Complete ownership of features worked upon, should be able to perform RCAs and provide quick resolution of relevant issues / production bugs while training Tech Support

- Engineers to offload recurring chunks of work.

- Should be full time mentor for at max 2 SDE1 and be able to assist all other SDE1 as and when required.

- Be part of lateral hiring process and allocate fix bandwidth for interviewing processes.

- Should strive for following best coding practices throughout the process of designing, development and testing.

- Should have great communication skills over email and in person discussions.

Skillset :

- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures

- Should have worked with MVC frameworks, web / client-based server architecture, structured and unstructured databases,

- Ability to translate product spec to engineering actionables

- Ability to navigate and structure code bases

- Rudimentary skills around service hosting and infrastructure. Should understand the end to end deployment cycle Persona

- Engineer from Tier I college

- Campus placed in start-up / mid-tier product company with small batch size in 2017 or around 2017. Give preference if the candidate's supposedly first hop is Rupeek

- Worked as SDE II or similar role with 2-4yrs as in Series A and beyond start-up- s, second hop to Rupeek

- Executed on RCAs / tough engineering problems with an SDE III at work

- Has working experience with Linux. Any certification is good to have

- Won awards / Recognised by upper management for going above and beyond

- Open source / pet projects contributions

- Active on GitHub / stack overflow

- Excellent internship record

- Published papers in A level conferences like IEEE, ACM

Education Background :

a) B. Tech / Dual Degree with Computer Science as major discipline

b) In core branches, preference to Electronics or Mechanical related discipline only

c) if candidate a graduate from Tier-1 colleges.

d) Graduation from Premium Institutes like IITs, NITs, BITS, state level top colleges

e) from Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and so on.

SemanticBits is looking for a full-stack engineer to help us build modern digital health services that are used to support the Center’s for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Quality Payment Program (QPP). The project involves implementing highly interactive and modern web interfaces with AngularJS that will be used by healthcare providers across the country. The system is backed by Node business services implemented in a microservices paradigm. The application uses a MySQL database. The project will be implemented using an Agile, Scrum-based process that includes Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospectives and daily stand-ups. The team uses human-centered design to implement highly modern, usable interfaces.


Responsibilities



  • Be part of a dynamic, highly-independent Scrum team following the standard Scrum ceremonies in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment

  • Work with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to break down requirements into technical tasks

  • Take ownership of various user stories and work with the development team to manage dependencies on the QPP Program

  • Collaborate with members of other teams to address integration needs and/or other interpendencies

  • Assist with the release management process

  • Assist team members in any way necessary to meet team commitments


Requirements



  • Expertise working as part of a dynamic, interactive Agile team developing and delivering digital services

  • Minimum 3 years experience developing front-end web user interfaces with Angular

  • Experience with integrating with RESTful backend microservices using Node.js(+typescript)

  • Experience with AWS highly preferred, along with Docker

  • Experience with build tools like webpack, npm, and gulp/grunt

  • Experience with Test-Driven Development using automated testing frameworks such as Mocha, Karma, Jasmine, Sinon, and/or Protractor

  • Experience ensuring your code builds and deploys properly through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes, built in Jenkins or a comparable tool

  • Ability to work with and coordinate with other developers using digital tools such as Slack

  • Experience with version control tools, such as Git

  • Knowledge of modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
