As a senior backend developer, you will be develop, maintain and deploy applications using Node.js and PostgreSQL. You need to be a DB expert and have extensive experience in Relational Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and NOSQL databases like Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB. Fintech experience is a PLUS.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Development, Debugging and Maintenance of the backend architecture of an app on which millions of users will transact each day.
2. Experience of data base development in PostgreSQL is a must, along with knowledge of all stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
3. Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
4. Designing effective data structures and algorithms
5. Strong experience in Nodejs, Express.js, REST APIs is required
6. Create and maintain technical documentation
7. Work with other teams and product owners to design and develop data structures
Other skills :
1. Previous working experience as a Database Admin and backend developer for (5+) years
2. Experience with deployment and maintenance of databases on cloud providers like AWS, Azure, etc
3. - Ability to effectively document and design technical specifications-
4. Experience with unit testing and integration tests-
5. Pro-efficient in developing & deploying applications in an Agile environment-
6. Passion to create something incredible that users absolutely love
