JD for QA Position :
Experience: 3- 20 Yrs
Requirements :
- We need a good knowledge of selenium and Api testing
- Understanding of different frameworks, e.g page object, data-driven
- Good knowledge about CI/CD and version controls
- Experienced on both web services and UI automation
- Good communication skills.
- Good Knowledge on Java, Agile and testing methodologies.
- QA we are looking for is someone is a good understanding of test processes and test management. This person has to have a great understanding of how to manage test suites and test documentation.
- Client is not looking for a manual QA who blindly follows the script. They need someone with good analytical skills to improve our test documentation and management.
- Candidate has to have a good understanding of automation and how to run scripts. Client don't need someone who is a developer in test, so not looking for deep technical knowledge. Needs someone who understands why we automate and how to be pragmatic about it.
Principal Responsibilities :
a) Test Automation
- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Enhance existing automation framework developed in Selenium.
- Integrate Selenium scripts with Jenkins CloudBees.
- Maintain traceability of functional requirements/Test Cases to automation test scripts.
- Develop automation test strategy and approach.
- Manage automation activities and provide status to stakeholders on accessing overall progress and completion.
- Maintain well-organized records of test results and generate a historical analysis of test results.
- Support overall QA activities such as the development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.
- Works closely with application development and other technical teams to,
- Understand how changes in the software product affect the maintenance of test scripts.
- Works with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues.
- Works with business resources to understand the purpose and concept for software features.
- Other duties may be assigned.
b) Quality Assurance Leadership :
- Provides QA guidance and direction to employees and consultants and, as needed, provides complex automation testing services to multiple projects.
- Mentors and directs activities of more junior QA Engineers.
- Coordinates multiple projects and guides project team members with internal and external interfaces, particularly for more complex testing situations.
