YOUR ROLE


As a Head of Data Science for the Pricing & Forecasting team, you’ll combine both worlds! You know the latest trends from research and innovation and have the experience to bring Machine Learning projects into production.



  • You consult and coordinate our data science projects across our department, such as price optimizations, discount recommendations, and order return predictions.

  • You drive problem definitions. You work closely with Product and Business to understand the requirements, define KPIs, and set expectations. With a team of Engineers and Data Scientists, you structure the research and development process.

  • You develop models. You analyze data and features, explain trade offs of various solutions,  and build sophisticated algorithms and models for pricing-related forecasts and recommender systems, such as demand, returns, cancellations, and discounts.

  • You develop solutions. You apply innovation and technology to fashion e-commerce and develop highly scalable and robust systems that meet business requirements.

Our unit
The delivery unit is part of R&F Data Group & LBB cluster. The delivery unit consists of activities related to BRD, Data Requirements and Data Management. This role is in the Data Management team.
 
Data Management: The team is involved with physical implementation of data quality, data lineage, data governance and reference data management by provisioning IT tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Metadata Manager (IMM), Collibra Data Governance Center and Orchestra EBX 5 respectively. The team also provides dash boarding and reporting capabilities for analysts and management seeking insights in data quality. 
 
Your profile 
You are an experienced Software Engineer with proven knowledge and experience in Risk & Finance projects or data warehousing and reporting solutions.
 
You have completed a bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology or similar
 
Work experience (must haves)



  • 3-5+ years working experience in software development;

  • 3-5+ years working experience in PowerCenter or IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) or IMM (Informatica Metadata Manager)

  • 3-5+ years working experience in Data Warehousing

  • 3-5+ years working experience of Oracle



Work experience (nice to haves)



  • 1-3+ years working experience of Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience with meta data management tools like IMM (Informatica Metadata Manager) or EIC (Enterprise Information Catalogue)

  • Experience with Linux / Kornshell (KSH) and scheduling

  • Experience with unit and automated testing

The Employee Systems team is responsible to build Employee related business applications.
