Software Engineer PowerCenter DevOps

The position
We are currently looking for a Software Engineer/PowerCenter Developer within Risk & Finance IT. You are an active member of the Agile/Scrum team with your primary focus on Data Quality and Data Lineage software implementation(s). You have broad knowledge of software development and knowledge about the business domain for which you work for. You dare to challenge and are open in your communication towards your own team, your customers and other stakeholders. You are eager to improve and take a leading role within the team on how to build, automate and streamline our processes.
You will (unit) test code built by your colleagues where possible using automated test tools. You will document your work as required. You are capable of independently analysing and critically assessing requirements. You quickly adapt within a new organisation and with changing circumstances.
Our department
The domain Risk & Finance is one of five domains within IT Systems. Risk & Finance takes care of the development & maintenance for all Risk Management, Finance and HR systems of the Group.
Risk & Finance hereby contributes significantly to the realisation of the Regulatory Roadmap under BCBS 239 and thereby to safeguarding the bank’s license as of 1 January, 2018. More than 600 employees work within the Risk & Finance Domain. The domain comprises of 4 delivery clusters. The delivery clusters are integrally responsible for Development and Operations of all IT systems within Rabobank’s Risk & Finance domain. Our delivery cluster is:
R&F Data Group & LBB: The delivery cluster consists of activities to realise and maintain the Group Data warehouse, the LBB Data warehouse, the FIRE programme, as well as the data requirements and data management.
Our unit
The delivery unit is part of R&F Data Group & LBB cluster. The delivery unit consists of activities related to BRD, Data Requirements and Data Management. This role is in the Data Management team.
Data Management: The team is involved with physical implementation of data quality, data lineage, data governance and reference data management by provisioning IT tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Metadata Manager (IMM), Collibra Data Governance Center and Orchestra EBX 5 respectively. The team also provides dash boarding and reporting capabilities for analysts and management seeking insights in data quality.
Your profile
You are an experienced Software Engineer with proven knowledge and experience in Risk & Finance projects or data warehousing and reporting solutions.
You have completed a bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology or similar
Work experience (must haves)
- 3-5+ years working experience in software development;
- 3-5+ years working experience in PowerCenter or IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) or IMM (Informatica Metadata Manager)
- 3-5+ years working experience in Data Warehousing
- 3-5+ years working experience of Oracle
Work experience (nice to haves)
- 1-3+ years working experience of Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with meta data management tools like IMM (Informatica Metadata Manager) or EIC (Enterprise Information Catalogue)
- Experience with Linux / Kornshell (KSH) and scheduling
- Experience with unit and automated testing
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of XebiaLabs XLDeploy and/or XLRelease
- Use of Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar tools
- Experience in a financial services environment (Risk, Finance etc.

What we offer
The position is scaled in function group 9.
With regard to an appointment or transfer to this position, resulting from an internal application, the Collective Labour Agreement applies to all employees. In the event of classification in a higher salary scale, the monthly salary will be increased by 3%. If, after this increase, the monthly salary is still lower than the scale minimum of the new scale then the monthly salary will be raised to at least the scale minimum. In the event of classification in the current salary scale, the monthly salary will remain unaltered.
