As a team member you will actively contribute and help drive the team goals and strategy for development and maintenance of our infrastructure Main Investment Areas in the Team include MIFID 2, MIFIR, EMIR Swedbank's and operational Governance/Operations of the Regulatory reporting solution.


Activities within the team are for example:



  • Coordinating and testing of development activities in our STARS regulatory reporting database

  • Ensure streamlined efficient daily operational processes meet requirement to regulators to keep reject handling below 1% EMIR and MIFID2

  • Establish strategic approach in meeting coming regulations, constantly evaluating impacts on existing architecture and processes

  • Driving the capture and definition of business and compliance requirements for development activities through interpreting both Business and compliance needs

  • Deliver features to close MIFID 2 TRS compliance gaps by Q3 2019

  • Close cooperation with FICC and EIS Value streams to manage dependencies and deliveries

  • Supporting 3rd party vendor relationships delivering outsourced regulatory services for Swedbank

  • Contributing and continuously improving agile ways of working

  • Help guide other members in the team to achieving both development features and operational targets


What you need to succeed



  • We believe that you have a genuine interest in the Regulatory reporting framework preferably having experience in this area within financial services.

  • You have knowledge and experience of Trading and Capital Markets products, understanding of Swedbanks products and operation

  • You need to have good knowledge regarding Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)

  • Experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

  • Knowledge regarding C# and .NET-framework

  • You need to have experience of SQL Server Management Studio Visual Studio

  • Understanding of version management and sync between different environments (dev, test, kval, prod) - It is an advantage if you have experience of tool TFS and GIT

  • Basic knowledge in Data Vault. – Be able to see the difference between hubb-, link-, satellite- and dimensions table

  • You need to be a team player and enjoy problem solving together with your colleagues

  • We also believe you have good communication skills, enjoy representing the bank in discussions with external parties and representing the team in discussions internally in the bank
