This role will work to enhance the functionality of various analytical libraries used for pricing, risk and valuation of mortgage, ABS/MBS and related financial products.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Proficiency developing software in C++ in a Linux environment
Hands-on experience with Python and numerical libraries is highly desired
good to have Working understanding of mortgages, amortization, ABS/MBS analytics concepts
Experience with object oriented languages and design patterns
Good to have analytical skills
Experience developing, maintaining, deploying and supporting pricing and risk applications is preferred
Solid oral and written skills
Understanding of High Performance Computing and scalable design
Experience with Intex and Trepp is a huge plus
