We are looking for a motivated developer to join our small team.  You will have the opportunity to work on all areas of our applications, from our internal front-end web tools for data visualisation to back-end interfaces with our third-party trading software.  You will also be exposed to our IT operations side helping to deploy the applications and improve our monitoring and performance.  This is a role where you will get to learn many different areas rather than being stuck working on a small section of an application.


Our tools are for internal use only to improve our trading decisions and to automate tasks where we can.  You will work directly alongside the users of your software and can see how it is used in production.


The ideal candidate will have experience with a functional programming language (Haskell, Scala, OCaml, Erlang).  Front-end web development will be a plus (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).  Experience with network programming (sockets and parsing application level protocols) is desirable.


Our development and production environment consists of Windows desktops with Linux servers, and some virtualization (oVirt and VMWare).  We automate where possible, with CI using Jenkins and Puppet for machine management.  Scripting experience in Linux is a bonus (Python, Bash, Ruby).

Als C#.Net Desktop software developer ben je onderdeel van een veelzijdig ICT team. Je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling en het onderhoud van de Plan4Flex software, ontwikkeld met name in Microsoft Visual Studio en gebruikt ter ondersteuning Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS). Dit ter ondersteuning van de operationele bedrijfsprocessen van de opdrachtgever. Dat daagt jou, als jonge en enthousiaste professional, uit om je opgedane kennis van bedrijfsprocessen in te zetten.

Wat zijn je taken?

De Plan4Flex software is eenvoudig te customizen, waardoor de software aan te passen is aan de bedrijfsprocessen van de klant. Met jouw analyserend vermogen, kennis, kunde en .NET skills help jij bij het programmeren en ontwikkelen van de software. In al je projecten, voornamelijk WinForms en MVC, gebruik je C# als programmeertaal.



  • Je vertaalt bedrijfsprocessen naar C#.NET applicaties.

  • Je ontwerpt, ontwikkelt, beheert en test efficiënte software en applicaties in C#.NET.

  • Je fungeert als vraagbaak op C#.NET gebied.

  • Je vertaalt functionele ontwerpen naar programmatuur.
