Kyrus believes deeply in hiring smart people and getting out of their way, as Alan Kay likes to say. Our clients bring us their biggest, hardest problems, and we need great programmers who want to make an impact by tackling those problems.
In the past, we’ve done everything from protocol analysis to hacking on LLVM.
We’re Looking For:
- Strong programmers with knowledge/interest of network protocols, reverse engineering, cryptography
- Self-starters who are able to take ownership of projects, from prototype to production
- Inquisitive, inventive, and creative people: many of Kyrus’ projects grew out of ideas proposed by engineers
- Autonomous individuals capable of working well without lots of oversight or process
- Has (or are eligible for) a security clearance
What We Do:
- Research and prototype solutions to client problems in an iterative fashion
- Develop mostly with Python, but also in C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript
- Value great engineering by letting you scope out requirements
- Work closely on projects in small teams of two to four people in semi-private offices
