Roles & Responsibilities :

- As part of the Product team, you will refactor and re-engineer existing products to reflect a localized microservice architecture within Salesforce orgs.

- Evolve our existing managed package environment to the 2nd generation packaging/deployment model, and drive best practices on the use of Salesforce Lightning Communities and the Lightning Bolt packaging framework.

- The Senior Salesforce Developer will frequently take new and existing Salesforce features and identify how they can be directly leveraged in products effectively.

- They will also stay 'ahead of the curve' in terms of keeping abreast of Salesforce product direction and working to ensure that our plans line up to take full advantage of these new capabilities.

- Translate requirements into development needs, architect solution, and develop logic.
- Maintain our Salesforce.com code-base, constantly finding areas to be improved to enhance user experience and re-factored to minimize technical debt.

- Collaborate with other groups to build integrations and adopt the best engineering standards as well as helping establish best practices for the systems team.

- Individual will have to troubleshoot existing Apex Classes and Triggers Work with Sales, Support, Product and other groups to identify areas of improvement and architect technical solutions

The Role


As a Lead Software Engineer, you will work as part of a development team to drive business integration designs and development in a Scaled Agile environment. Will look to enhance build and enhance integration platforms, and develop CI/CD pipelines for DevOps processing on the Business Integration team. Extensive unit/functional testing knowledge experience necessary to help improve both front-end and back-end processing quality. Knowledge of SOA including principles of overall architecture, design, processes, functionality, and technical components which include middleware integration and orchestration components. Strong email and verbal communication skills. The engineer will work as part of a team effort to create a Digital Experience for the Enterprise Business Unit and Customers. The full-stack Engineer will be engaged in all aspects of the development life cycle from requirement review, design, coding, testing, and deployment. The Main Responsibilities


Should be able to understand Business requirements and relate them to Design & Implementation from Jira stories. The successful candidate will be able to participate in design reviews and demos as part of the implementation meetings.



  • Develop high-level/low-level Engineering design specs for the work they are involved in. Independent in designing and developing complex systems, web services, and integration with various end systems.

  • Some development aspects will include:

  • Software engineering using modern software architecture and patterns

  • Developing new Enterprise Services in REST using the latest patterns

  • Develop various database schemas and complex SQL queries

  • Responsible for the development of unit testing specs

  • Maintain and resolve issues in highly complex integration architecture

  • Support various testing cycles including integration, UAT & regression testing

  • Develop Microapps and Microservices to support APIs

  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines as part of the DevOps platforms to deliver code into test and production

  • Follow up with various end application owners to resolve issues

What We Look For in a Candidate



  • Typically 10+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience. 8+ years with a Master's Degree

  • Proficient in front end UI development using Angular, CSS, Bootstrap, Vue.js

  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages including Java/J2EE,JavaScript etc

  • Understanding of databases including MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL

  • Data structuring tools like XSD, XML, JSON

  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker or SonarQube

  • Work with product owners to understand desired initiatives and implement application capabilities

  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and development in web application development frameworks and related, emerging technologies to provide, recommend, and deliver best practice solutions

  • Develop and deploy web applications in an AWS environment

  • Work with development teams and product managers to design software solutions

  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

  • Write effective APIs

  • Extend and integrate with front-end applications

  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

  • Create security and data protection settings

  • Write technical documentation


Requirements



  • Proven experience as a full stack developer in a similar role

  • 6+ years of overall experience in software development

  • 3 years of Python experience - required

  • 3 years of AWS experience or other Cloud technology experience

  • 1+ years of JavaScript / React experience

  • 2 years of hands-on experience with JIRA a sprint planning/development and project management tracking tool

  • Experience working with a Version Control system (preferably Git)

  • Developer level knowledge of CI/CD integration – using branching/merge approaches

  • Experience creating highly available and scalable infrastructure in AWS Cloud by using various AWS Services

  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, JSON)

  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), Web Servers (e.g. Apache)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, preferably in IT/Data-related field

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate - Preferred

  • Experience working on and knowledge of Health and Human Services (HHS) and/or Centers Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) projects and processes - Preferred

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
