A Fathom5 Software Engineer will:



  • Be intimately familiar with developing and maintaining software projects with a microservices architecture

  • Be accustomed to everyday use of Windows and UNIX CLI tools

  • Be cognizant of project technical debt and its management

Responsibilities


Deliver software


Work with the engineering team to design and implement the backend of our flagship analytics product in the healthcare domain. The computation-intensive nature of the product requires performance optimization and distributed systems design.


Be proud of what you produce


The work will require your best engineering skills to come forth. In collaboration with teams in Europe and Asia, you will create, deploy, and support your products. You will navigate competing requirements such as need for high performing code, restrictive deployment environments, data security, etc. to produce something you can be proud of.


Required Skills:



  • Strong Haskell skills

  • Working knowledge of a Relational Database

  • Working knowledge of Linux

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Effective oral and written communication
