What you will do:
- Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, calling APIs, write SQL queries, etc.)
- Enhance, maintain and use our cloud based Data Platform
- Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis – and then do the analysis
- Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis
- Design and build healthy, scalable architectures for real time and batch data processing
What you should bring:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in a related area such as Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
- 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, preferably in an e-commerce/ internet-based company with large and complex data sources
- Expertise with Hadoop, Hive, Spark
- Hands on experience with AWS, EMR or similar
- Solid experience writing SQL queries and working with relational DBMS’s like MySQL
- Good knowledge of Linux and shell scripts
- Experience with reporting tools (Tableau), ETL Tools and concepts is an advantage
- Being a great team player comes naturally to you and you communicate fluently in English
