Job Description:

The Sr Technical Analyst will use Dev Ops practices and tools to analyze and deliver predictable and repeatable solution design artifacts that enable continuous solution delivery by domain DevOps teams.  Should be aware of modern software development, integration and delivery practices using DevOps and Agile methodologies. Familiarity or hands on experience with micro-service based service architectures and their components.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in defining domain technical roadmaps with architecture and leadership.
  • Own and drive functional scope analysis and detailed solution design of the processes/systems within domain for each project assigned. Partners across domain Sr. TA's for alignment and impact analysis. 
  • Translate business requirements into process/system impacts and functional requirements, and identify/assess potential data source.
  • Continually inform stakeholders, management and project managers of project risks, team activities and project status.
  • Lead issue resolution efforts to help eliminate or reduce scheduling or budget impacts. 
  • Research, identify and drive improvements to project efficiency, speed and quality via view cross-team synergies, methods, tools and staffing models.
  • Drive collaboration with business and IT partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, provide education on potential process and system solution options, and drive business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities
  • May be assigned Scrum Master responsibilities on development initiatives.
  • Lead analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs within domain.
  • Lead the development of design specifications and deliverables that support system functions and enhancements.
  • Facilitate sessions to solicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories) 
     


  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience 
  • Focus: Able to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission. Can articulate the relationship between business strategy and technology strategy and lead technical solutions to align those strategies.  .  Ability to think broadly at the domain level and understand domain and system-level inter-workings.
  • Drive:  Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure 
  • Teamwork: Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support. 
  • Communication: The ability to ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Express self clearly in conversations and interactions with others. Clear business and technical writing skills. 
  • Customer Focus: The ability to demonstrate concern and meet external and/or internal customers' needs
  • Analytical: The ability to lead problem resolution by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach. 
  • Technical Expertise: The ability to demonstrate depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area. 
  • Forward Thinking: The ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies. 
  • Influencing Others: The ability to gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
  • Extensive Experience with large scale System Integration Projects
  • Extensive experience operating in an Agile / Scrum environments\\
  • Extensive experience refining user stories and planning sprints
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies


  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
