Job Description:

The Senior Business Operations Manager role is responsible for providing strategic planning support by organizing, directing and assisting in the implementation of work efforts that drive goals and objectives of leadership for Transformation, Engineering, & Quality(TEQ). Drive strategies, performance improvements and cross-functional work to support a best in class organization. Understanding, leading and managing data sets critical to overall success.  Identify opportunities and influence leaders to act to shape the strategic direction of the organization.

TEQ Expectations:
  • Understands in depth the TEQ platforms, capabilities, processes, tools, and integration.  What is current available, what is being built, integration/dependencies and the TEQ end-state view.
  • Automation First that enables E2E traceability & transparency
  • Drive building self-service, data driven, and decentralized decision making
  • Deep understanding of the customer pain points and needs around Delivery. 
  • Customer Focused and Value based development.


  • Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic guidance by identifying, evaluating and analyzing critical priorities by partnering with teams to gather critical information.Performs a leading role on diverse work efforts.
  • Facilitates productive strategic discussions, leadership meetings and planning sessions to ensure the purpose and objectives are met.
  • Finds innovative approaches and solutions to problems.
  • Simplifies and communicate complex problems through clear communication, useful tools and precise metrics that the field can execute, act on or drive changes in behavior.
  • Advises the leadership team of opportunities on specific areas based on individual involvement and observations, and be a catalyst for action by identifying necessary changes and driving next steps until issue is resolved.
  • Identifies and proposes solutions regarding obstacles or issues while understanding their financial impact on the business and experience for our customers and/or employees. 
  • Analyzes multifaceted data from IT Leadership, finance, and interprets in a way that is precise, methodical and accurate so the leadership can understand key takeaways. 
  • This specific role will perform duties including but not limited to:Establish an operating rhythm of the business to ensure the organization is running effectively and efficiently to meet goals and objectives:
     
  • Manage centralize repository of processes and improve processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations.
  • Create, manage and maintain specific communications and cadence for All Hands meetings, QBRs, team meetings, ongoing communications, events etc.
  • Space Planning for employees and contractors
  • Maintain the SharePoint and any content related to the team
  • Maintain harmony and ensure shared responsibility of business objectives with focus on team development and employee career growth.
  • Help with recruiting operations and oversee new employee onboarding and training programs.
  • Engage employees through meaningful training and growth opportunities.
  • Author, manage, and deliver executive level reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports to manage risks and issues and improve team communication and collaboration
  • Run organizational planning and business rhythm process in alignment with all other functions to develop vision, mission, goals, objectives and key results (OKRs), resource and capital plans, etc.


  • Qualifications:

    Qualifications:
  • 7 years' related work experience. Program Planning and Management experience required, well-rounded background including delivery, financial planning and analysis, goal setting and KPI reporting.
  • Exceptional presentation skills that share both qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Strong project management, execution, implementation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated pattern of thinking and acting strategically with an innovative, yet analytical approach to problem solving without much supervision or direction.
  • Proven ability to develop and produce reports from existing systems and multiple sources, consolidate and evaluate results, create a comprehensive illustration and make suggestions based on observations.
  • Flexible, team player with a positive attitude towards internal and external customer experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple different work streams without sacrificing quality or strategy perspective.
  • Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of common business applications (Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). 
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience require
  • Preferred:  Master's Degree
