Site Reliability Engineering
Site Reliability Engineering is a newly formed team with an intense focus on driving Aladdins stability, reliability, and scalability to the next level. This team combines software and systems engineering principals and concepts consistent with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) discipline.

A role in the new Site Reliability Engineering team might be for you! While experience in DevOps or SRE is a strong plus, it is not a necessity. We are looking to build a diverse team of engineers with different skill sets and experience.
The Site Reliability Engineering team has:
* A broad range of opportunities for engineers who have strong problem solving skills and are passionate about scale, performance, and stability
* Roles for individuals with strong quantitative skills, including Engineers with a deep knowledge of system metrics and/or data science
* Positions for DevOps evangelists who will be embedded in other development teams to facilitate implementing best practices and principals
* Roles for developers who will focus on building the next generation of system automation and tooling to support the Aladdin platform
You have:
* 2-3 years as a Site Reliability or DevOps Engineer
* 6 to 10 years of experience overall with experience as a software engineer or software architect
* Experience solving for scalability, Performance and stability
* A passion for building solutions that will help run a platform that powers over $26 trillion in assets and generates over $600 Million in SAAS revenues
* A deep expertise in your field of Software Engineering
* A keen attention to detail, critical thinking and the urge to drive innovation
* A belief in data driven analysis and problem solving anda proven track record in applying these principles
* A desire to be an integral part of a team where the best idea wins, no matter who comes up with it
* The knowledge and drive to scale technology to the needs of tomorrow
* An organized approach the planning and execution of major projects
* A passion for building solutions that will help run a platform that powers over $26 trillion in assets and generates over $600 Million in SAAS revenues
* A deep expertise in your field of Software Engineering
* A keen attention to detail, critical thinking and the urge to drive innovation
* A belief in data driven analysis and problem solving
* A desire to be an integral part of a team where the best idea wins, no matter who comes up with it
* The knowledge and drive to scale technology to the needs of tomorrow
You might also have:
* A degree in a Computer Science, technology, engineering, physical science, or math discipline
* A deep understanding of capturing and utilizing Metrics and Telemetry data
* Exposure to Linux, Networking, NoSql, RDBS, Data Science, middleware technologies (FIX/SWIFT/MQ/Kafka),Time Series Databases (Prometheus, Druid, InfluxDB)
