Software Engineer (.NET, Cloud, Agile)

We are partnered with a leading provider of IT management consulting and software solutions to continue to build out their Application Technology consulting practice. Join an Agile team that provides end to end solutions including Application Development and Integration, Application Architecture, custom IoT and mobile solutions, UX, Quality Management and Testing, Business Process Management and helping clients determine the best applications for their business needs and integrate new and existing applications into their business including Mobility integration.

This high performing team works with numerous types of technologies and software framework such as Java, .Net, iOS, HTML5, ESBs, advises on the software development life-cycle, and helps architect and develop specific applications for clients. Additionally, they support the integration of new applications and quality management and testing.

Knowledge Preferred:

• Utilizing n-tier development, SDLC and Object-oriented design.
• Designing and implementing technology for new or existing business applications.
• Developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
• Problem-solving capabilities demonstrated by a thorough ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software orchestrations and identify solution options and/or alternatives.
• Scoping and estimating project tasks, as well as managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience with C# and a strong understanding of Object-oriented design and development (OOP/OOD)

• Experience with all phases of the SDLC for a data-centric web application

• knowledge concepts such as Distributed application & data processing architectures, Microservices, etc.

• Experience with detailed design documents

• Minimum Years of Experience: 4

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

• Experience with one or more cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Skills Preferred:

• 5-10 years demonstrated experience with Microsoft technology stack. E.g., .NET C#, SQL Server, Azure, .NET Core and Web Services/APIs, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Database and ETL

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and frontend (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

• Proficient understanding of two or more client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, C3, D3, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, AngularJS, React/Redux, Ember, Django REST Web APIs, etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Bower, etc.

• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
