Join the team responsible for all commerce payment processing on the iTunes Store including Music/Video downloads, iBooks Store, App Store, Mac App Store, In-App purchase, subscriptions, plus payment processing for Apple Retail stores.
 

Key Qualifications:
Prior experience developing distributed system using MicroServices, SOA, REST
Prior experience in designing and managing systems with high performance, scalability and availability
Exceptional Java programming skills
Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases
Proven track record in leading technical design and implementation

Description:
We are looking for an energetic and proactive lead engineer who is excited to join Apples payment organization and make key contributions to this growing organization. You are the type of person that when you see a problem, you dont just complain about it, you roll up your sleeves and resolve it.

You will be responsible for leading the architecture design of projects as well as working with other junior developers and contractors to drive projects forward. You should be well versed in designing distributed systems with high availability, performance, and scalability, and familiar with common problems and exception handling techniques of distributed systems.

Additionally, you should be extremely well versed with development, code review, unit test, and integration test processes and be able to make suggestions to improve development process to be more effective. You should also have exceptional track record leading projects involving multiple parties and be able to effectively communicate between multiple parties to drive technical design forward or resolve technical issues.

Education:
BS or MS in Computer Science
