Responsibilities:
- Design and configure Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for on-premise and cloud applications and services in both IBM BuildForge and VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services).
- Monitor and support the deployment of both cloud and on-prem web applications via automation tools and practices.
- Monitor and support the deployment of both cloud and on-prem database deployments via automation tools and practices.
- Recommend new and emerging techniques, tools, and best practices to support implementation and adoption of shared services.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies within the build/deployment automation process and develop custom solutions for improvement.
- Assist in the management of SDLC tools and platforms (source, build, release, package management, code quality/vulnerability).
- Champion Agile best-practices, processes, and tools in support of DevOps processes.
- Mentor and train other engineers, participate and lead specialist practice community events
- Participate in weekend on call rotation.
- Develop tools/automation to ensure compliance in regards to source control management, policies and access controls within our ALM platforms, and conformity with our development model.
