What you’ll do
Based in the middle office team, you will be responsible for delivering solutions to traders, middle office, finance and treasury. No part of the end to end data flow is out of scope in order for you to solve our problems, from trade execution, Brokers, Clearers, Middle Office, Treasury and Finance.
You’ll be providing timely and accurate financial and trading performance information across the whole organisation. With many exchanges, brokers, clearers, products, currencies and timezones to contend with, there is a significant challenge in calculating and presenting the right data in the right place in the right way and at the right time.
What you bring
You have experience in designing and building multi-threaded, high throughput, data-centric applications and understand the challenges involved in processing and presenting very large data sets effectively.
Ideally, you’ve done this using C# with WPF and associated SDLC toolsets, but C++ or Java is also valuable with a willingness to learn C#.
You have relational database experience, ideally SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including optimising the data and the queries to maximise performance.
You design systems with a focus on performance, automation and ease of use.
You have a track record of working directly with stakeholders, teasing out requirements and driving out solutions to those problems.
You have a track record of designing and delivering large, end to end projects spanning multiple teams and departments.
