Job description
Over the past years our software transitioned from .NET Web Forms application towards scalable high performing single page apps. We are working with a mixed mode of the hottest technologies, such as C#7, F#, .NET(Core) Event Sourcing, CQRS and DDD. But as web land changes every day, investigation and introducing new technologies is done on daily basis. And that is exactly what we are looking for in you as a Software Developer!
As a Software Developer you will work on a huge landscape across different global distributed products with a high diversity of work. Furthermore you will:
- Write clean, well-tested code which works across legacy and modern browsers;
- Work in an agile, self-organizing distributed team where innovation is a core value;
- Work closely with business leaders in order to implement solutions that addresses their core safety needs.
Our Maintenance & Product Improvement team focuses on product improvements and problem management.
The main responsibilities of this team include:
- Enhancing and improving the product to solve software problems;
- General product improvements increasing productivity and efficiency of other departments;
- Creating tools and services increasing operational excellence.
In general the distribution of the daily job is:
- 50% - Problem management
- 25% - Product enhancements
- 25% - Cloud operations, operational excellence, efficiency tooling
In this team you will exposed to the following items:
- Backend experience (.NET, .NET Core)
- Front-end experience (JS, React)
- Development practices (DDD, CQRS, ES)
- AWS
- Communication skills
- Analytical skills
Qualifications
We get excited from people who build software in a creative way and keep questioning if the solutions still make sense. Furthermore we have the following requirements:
- Ability to write re-usable, modular C# / .NET code
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational data stores
- Preferably knowledge of Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing
- Experience with Git (GitHub)
- Experience with .NET Core is a plus
- Experience with AWS and Cloud technology
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal is required.
