In this role you will be developing 5G capabilities of Intel's RF modem calibration framework and tools for internal use and customer deployment. You will be responsible for the implementation of the calibration software tool used internally for RF Modem development, teaming up with the HW Validation you will code measurement methodology into the software tool and provide drivers for 5G measurement equipment for the Intel RF community. You will also productize this solution for Intel's customers and provide second level support for the software solution.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Modem calibration ensuring high quality RF performance
- Partner with System Engineering and Firmware Developers solidifying and improving the 5G calibration feature
- First level debug of the calibration Framework
- RF Modem HW and FW will get you in close contact to the RF Modem concepts and the RF product development team.
Qualifications
Master's degree in electrical engineering, science, or related field
- 5+ years Python coding
- Basics in RF measurement techniques
- Experience with issue and project tracking system e.g. Jira, Clearquest
- 5+ years of experience working in silicon validation environments
- RF measurements and calibration for 5G NR and mmW
- Advanced Python architectures in OOP
- Python GUI programming (e.g. PyQT, WxPython etc.)
- Implementing measurement equipment drivers and test content
- Basic understanding of power and performance
- Debugging low level software and hardware issues
- Post-silicon enabling and bring-up
- Programming in C#, C++ desired
- Version control software e.g. GIT, SVN, Perforce etc.
- MS-Windows, Mac OS X, Linux e.g. Ubuntu
