Position Summary
We are seeking a Java Developer to work as part of a team to analyze, design, develop, configure, test, and implement enterprise application solutions that leverage Java and other technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of full stack Java development experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience with Linux operating environment and command line
- Effective software and data troubleshooting skills
- Experience with statistical analysis and reporting
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and coding languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write technical design documentation
- Exemplary collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience working with remote teams, partners and customers
- Ability to effectively respond to dynamically changing work environment
- Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a U.S. Government background check
Desired:
- SAS development experience
- Python development experience
- Bash and shell scripting experience
- Experience with healthcare data and systems
- Experience working with GIT code repository
- Experience working in an Agile software development team
- Located in San Diego, CA to work out of Cognitive headquarters
