Business Analyst

Brooksource is seeking a Business Analyst to work hand in hand with Sr. Project Managers to ensure successful completion of technical products. You will be responsible for engaging with the technical and business stakeholders to define requirements that will make key business decisions. You will also work closely with the QA team to ensure code is thoroughly tested prior to moving into production.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the developers to ensure business requirements meet expectations, and that code is thoroughly tested prior to moving into production
• Work closely with the project manager and scrum master to insure on-time delivery of committed user stories
• Manage business and tech partner communications around project milestones
• Partner with business and technology leaders to translate business/technology strategies into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
• Partner with the QA team to test completed user stories by the developers
• Facilitates the project team to deliver projects on schedule
• Application environment configuration and debugging, using SQL queries, log and config files
• Document and report bugs, along with testing and verification of fixes

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience managing projects involving custom web applications
• A minimum of 3 years experience working in an agile environment
• Experience writing SQL queries to troubleshoot against a database
• Hands-on experience managing and executing integration testing, regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing
• Highly developed communication, presentation, leadership and facilitation skills
• Understanding of change control, versioning, and environment management
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate results
• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills
