Responsibilities


-If you are invited to join our Strategic Technology Group Architecture practice, you will be challenged with defining and delivering next generation digital transformation initiatives for global companies. You will be part of an elite multinational team of technology leaders and chief architects selected for the ability to bring together technology trends, competitive disruptors and innovative ideas to solve wicked problems. When the worlds leading companies turns to Infosys for help, Infosys turns to the Strategic Technology Group.

You must be ready to take charge, working closely with the sales and delivery teams to craft solutions for large and complex programs.

You will be involved during presales stage, offering advice on best fit technologies, products and platforms, developing future state enterprise and technical architectures and providing technology leadership and governance for the delivery of these programs. -You will be seen and heard so your ability to communicate is paramount. You must be ready to network and collaborate with CXO as well as Digital and business leaders of client organizations, develop viewpoints on industry and digital technology trends, publish viewpoints for industry consumption, and speak in reputed industry and partner forums.

Required Skills & Experience

  • More than 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of experience in Digital transformation or Enterprise IT architecture, has architected the solution at the intersection of Experience, API, Data and Cloud with deeper expertise in or more of these 4domains
  • Has personally led & successfully delivered at least one digital transformation program (size > $10m) with tangible business outcomes
  • Brings excellent communication skills and social awareness to everyday tasks. The successful candidate is able to empathize, collaborate, negotiate, and persuade. You can present to executives, build camaraderie with business leaders, and inspire technologists to buy in
  • Has performed as a Chief Architect or Digital architecture lead. In doing so, the candidate has led a team of architects as part of a large program and provided guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure that the technical quality of the program was met
  • Has a demonstrable understanding of a practical Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF, Frameworx, BIAN, etc) and should have applied one or more of these frameworks in practice. Has demonstrable skills in Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Solution Architecture and Technology Architecture with depth in at least one of these areas
  • Brings technology breadth (covering user experience, digital architecture, analytics, cloud and security) and specific depth in one or more areas to drive end to end technology solutions
  • Estimates effort and time with the confidence born of real experience in delivery. The successful candidate can help determine total cost of ownership, technical debt, and long term tradeoffs between architectural alternatives
  • Understands and can educate others on high level business models and industry-specific processes for one or more industries
  • Speaks with authority and writes with clarity. The successful candidate is able to communicate at right level of detail and with a clear message when interacting with any level of stakeholder: CXOs, business partners and all manner of technologists
  • Has good social skills including ability to clearly communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills & Experience


  • Should have deep technology expertise in one or more evolving areas (Digital/Mobility, Customer/User experience, API and Micro services, Search, Content Management, DAM, Commerce, CRM, Order management, Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud and SAAS/PAAS platforms) and should be able to have deep dive discussions with SMEs in this space


  • Should have zero distance to code and be able review detailed designs, code, configuration, and data models and provide specific guidance to the architects and developers


  •  Should have good understanding and exposure to the products and platforms relevant to digital transformation


  •  Should have good understanding of the leading open source technologies, frameworks and tools in the market and the ability to stay up to date on evolving ones


  •  Should have good understanding of both relational and No SQL databases and when to use each appropriately


  •  Should be able to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
