Six Month Contract to Hire
As a .NET developer you will be responsible for the design, programming and systems analysis of multiple projects. You will be utilizing ASP.NET or C# primarily for this position. You will be responsible for testing applications and evaluating the performance of the web-based applications. You will be working in an agile environment, so you must have the ability to drive solutions to completion and exceptional written and oral communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 0-1 year of experience in systems analysis, programming, and design
· BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
· Development skills in ASP.NET; C#; XML, MVC, REST, SOAP, Web services
· Familiar with JavaScript, Java, Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Team Foundation Server.
· Familiar with performance, scalability, security, and testing applications.
· Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
· Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
· Understanding of Agile application development.
· Ability to contribute tasks in building technical project schedules
Responsibilities:
· Analyze, design, modify, build and deploy applications
· Supports and/or installs software applications and components.
· Translate and document business problems and/or user stories to functional applications.
· Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget.
· Participate in design and peer reviews.
· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
· Maintain code quality
· Works across multiple applications and allocates time appropriately to meet assigned deadlines.
· Assist in post implementation support and system enhancements.
