Computer Scientist at The GBS Group (Philadelphia, PA)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Oversee Cybersecurity for LBTF IT assets and represented ship system hardware/equipment
• Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability analysis of LBTF IT assets and ship system hardware/equipment and write mitigation statements
• Coordinate and facilitate threat assessments of LBTF IT assets and ship system hardware/equipment
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts to determine cybersecurity requirements, designs, and migration paths
• Assist with Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) effort for the LBTF in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
• Maintain inventory of all LBTF IT assets and ship system hardware/equipment

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity related degree
• At least 1 year of Cybersecurity experience
  • Java and the ability to read/write/debug Java software applications
  • C++ and the ability to read/write/debug C++ software applications
  • Linux (RHEL, CentOS, etc.) and Windows operating systems
• Understand object-oriented programming methodologies and follow software design and development processes
• An active DOD security clearance

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with conducting ACAS/Nessus scans
• Experience with applying STIGs
