Release Manager

Work youll do
As a Release Manager in our practice you will:
* Create and update release schedules
* Work with developers, testers, system administrators, and management to plan and execute releases and deployments
* Create and update artifacts that ensure change management processes are relevant
* Collaborate with change advisory boards to prioritize release content
* Represent team in weekly release management meetings, presenting upcoming release plans and contingencies
* Spearhead the development team as a release manager for monthly releases resulting in 100% on time deliverables with minimal defects
* Oversee all phases of SDLC and implementation by ensuring all deliverables are completed and on time
* Design new release processed around ITIL methodology that meets the needs of the business, creates key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive continuous service improvement
* Act as project manager for the release of software systems: managing project, enhancements, bug fixes, and maintenance and patching releases
* Scheduling releases, managing release processes, improving change and configuration management processes, coordinating release content, monitoring release and deployment progress, and assigning release tasks to team members

Qualifications
Required:
* 4+ years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience (Minimum of 1 year serving as a release manager)
* Deep understanding of SDLC
* Proficient with release and change management tools
* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
* Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
* Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Preferred:
* ITIL, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Relevant Agile Certifications
