Analyst - Robotics Process Automation at TriNet (Austin, TX)

Position Summary:
Candidate must be a self-starter with a technical background along with the aptitude to learn and assist in using technology tools employed by TriNet. Technology tools include TriNets RPA (robotic process automation) platform - Automation Anywhere, as well as in house tools using technologies such as SQL, Excel, Microsoft Access, Informatica Cloud Services. These tools are used to increase the productivity and efficiency of back office operation tasks. Individuals must have exposure to transaction processing applications, custom or commercially available automation tools and/or in-house developed tools.


This position will own TriNets RPA platform as well as assist in the development, support and maintenance of pre-defined and scheduled automation tasks and on-demand custom tasks requested by users. The position will be required to understand and document the steps required to replicate the set of manual tasks and convert them into an automation job.



Responsibilities:
This position requires an individual who can make significant contributions in the design, development and implementation of solutions that will solve issues and meet business requirements. The incumbent will need to analyze workflows and business processes and identify features in the automation tool to replicate workflow steps that were/are done manually. This person will contribute in developing solutions within existing business applications.


As a RPA app owner, responsible and accountable for the system availability & maintenance.
Bridge between Trinet & AA for any platform related work, upgrades, SLA breaches.
Will work with Tech ops teams to perform the tasks like, SW installations, OS patching, Code promotion path to production setups, etc.
Maintain the Bot registry / inventory
Build Meta Bots and manage the lifecycle of all bots
Work with architects and establish new system level connections if needed.
Will evaluate the bot creators needs for provisioning the bot runner environment and maintain the balance between available bot runner instances and load.
Monitor the Control center, Analyze the growing needs and work with architects and tech ops for capacity planning, and other environment needs.
Support and enhance RPA applications/jobs used within individual business functions and business processes.
Monitor runtime logs, schedules and troubleshoot, resolve issues across application suite
Document technical and functional details of applications as well as corresponding user guides and cheat sheets. Provide expertise on applications and tools.
Must have technical and problem-solving skills to analyze user needs and enhance existing applications or develop new solutions.
Should have the ability and willingness to mine and analyze data to identify root cause of issues.
Must be interested and will to learn functioning of standalone single and multi-user desktop database applications, developed in house for data processing and analysis needs
Provide time estimates and preparing design documents, developing, coding and testing.
Strong team emphasis and relationship building skills; create effective partnerships with business, shared services and other IT support areas
Assist in reporting issues relating to work queue status, conflicts/issues, and changes among the various functional groups. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisor to ensure timely and accurate assessment and communication of progress, issues and risks.
Participating in peer code reviews. Sharing experiences and best practices, represent technology team in the RPA COE

Requirements:
BS, Management Information Systems or related degree, plus minimum of 3 years of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) experience with Automation Anywhere is required.
Experience with SQL, VB Scripting in Excel and MS Access, Excel Macros, Batch Files, , Data Loads, Data visualization and presentation essential
Experience developing standalone and embedded SQL scripts to produce on-demand and scheduled custom reports and data sets
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies within software design, use cases, coding and testing
Knowledge in Dev Ops tools like, Stash, Jenkins, Artifactory, Urban Code
Knowledge in different Integration principles & protocols like SOAP, REST
Good analytical, data analysis, presentation and problem-solving skills
Strong analysis, design and debugging capabilities
Good communication skills both verbally and written
Must have technical and problem-solving skills to analyze user needs and enhance existing applications or develop new solutions.
